1.) Prayer. I worship the Lord all day, but often fail to spend significant time in prayer. I can sit down and shoot an email to my friends, update my Facebook status, or blog, but rarely make the time to sit down and talk to my Lord and Savior. Not acceptable.
2.) Family. Continue to do my role as wife & mom with a happy heart. The key word is HAPPY heart!
I told EP the other day, I have everything I ever wanted, now I just need to be continually happy – not at all fearful – about it!
3.) Journal. I did a horrible job keeping a journal of Stunt Boy growing up….okay, he’s still growing up, but I mean the younger years–especially tracking the language delay. My goal is to journal, in the form of blogging, daily. Don’t want to hear it? Don’t check it! I’d like to do the 365 photo thing, but I’m nervous it will overwhelm me. But, who are we kidding, I do take a pic every day.
4.) Friends. I want to see my girl-friendships grow this year. As I stated in my birthday blog, I hardly even know how to function outside my kids these days. I want to nurture those girlfriends around me, MOPs, BSF….I need outside relationships.
5.) Health. Yeah, you knew that was coming. 15 lbs is the short term goal. It’s all still pregnancy weight. But it really isn’t all about the pounds…I liked where I was before Starlet, my muscle mass & figure. THAT is what I’m heading back too. Gym time. I got my FitBook and I’m ready to go!
(Oh, ahem, and I may or may not have shelled out the $40 to rejoin WW which is how I lost all the SB weight. I’m VERY financially motivated. Every time I thought about heading for the pantry today I thought about flushing $40 down the toilet! Um, yeah, I’m starving!)
Of course, under each of those is like 5 or six specific things, but you don’t need to know all of that. Did you make your resolutions??

Is there somewhere local to buy the FitBook or did you order it online?
Not that I know of. I had to order it – well, I didn’t – I got it as a gift.
It’s really cool. I plan to write my goals on Sunday.
These resolutions are great. I need to focus on all of the things you mentioned too, but especially #5 because I need to get my body preggo-ready for when the time comes.
Your blog is very fun to read; I like your outlook on life, God, wifehood, and parenthood. I’ll be back!
Of course I made resolutions- I think that is a must after just having baby number 2. Mine include being happy and loving to my family and working out. I like how you put it in number 2. I feel like I have a blessed life too, I want to make sure I am thankful for that every day. Oh and I want to redecorate my home- I guess everyone needs a superficial resolution right?!
