me: … and thank you Jesus for dying on the cross….(interruption)
SB: mom, Jesus only dies on the cross when we say bad words (basically, when we are not kind with our words – not swearing, but i guess that counts too.)
me: oh, okay.
SB: Rocky (stuffed dog) wants to die on the cross.
me: Buddy, only Jesus can die on the cross because he was the only one without sin.
SB: Yeah, its okay, Rocky would be too hard to nail to a cross anyway.
I ran out as fast as I could after Amen to write that down….ahh…..
*Insert: Rocky dog (stuffed dog) is named after Diva’s real dog named Rocky. When Stunt Boy first began to talk, one of his first words accompanied alongside with giggling was, “Ra-Ra! Ra-Rocky!!!!” Ironically, Aunt Diva gave stuffed Rocky to SB on the day he was born. Yeah, I am a proud Aunt!
