With EP yesterday getting water from the water store…EP backs into the spot to unload bottles. This position gives SB the perfect view of the highway.
SB: Dad, what if a chicken crosses the road?
EP: *blink*blink* Uhh…
SB: Well, he’d probably get run over.
Just so matter-of-fact.

When we wake up in the morning we usually have snack and bottle (cup for SB) in my bed while watching cartoons. Special Agent OSO is almost always on. It is my very least favorite cartoon. The following are a result of watching OSO….
This morning unloading the dishwasher…SB drops something on his way to put it up.
EP: Uh oh, watch out buddy.
SB: It’s okay dad. It’s all part of the plan…more or less.
After eating breakfast the other day I reminded SB to do his chores (which I will blog on later). A few minutes later I heard him talking through it:
SB: Step One, put your plate in the sink. (which he does). Step two, put your placemat away (which he also does). Step three, wipe your place with a rag (check).
I was so surprised he didn’t exclaim, “Special Assignment Complete” when he was done. NERD!

This morning discussing Thanksgiving.
Me: SB, what are you thankful for?
SB: Daddy and Rocky (ahem, the STUFFED dog)
EP: What about mom?
SB: Nope.
OOOOOOOkay!
Gotta love the mom love. K watches Oso too and asks me all the time “Mommy will you help me with a special assignment?” And she does the “It’s all part of the plan” after she falls down. They absorb soooo much!
