Home again.

He’s here! My other half is finally home. EP and I have a two week rule when traveling. We try not to go over two weeks between trips to see each other.

The two week rule was pretty easy when it was just SB, because we could easily make two trips if EP was going to be on location for longer than 6 weeks.  But, now that I have TWO kids to bring through the airport, I’m having to schedule what is best for us. Unfortunately, for this trip, we hit 3 weeks exactly.

I have to say, when I know they are shooting its really not too hard for me.  Something about knowing what they are doing…It’s that last week/week and a half of wrap out that kills me.  I mean does it really take that long to wrap a movie out??  Of course, I know the answer is yes, but my desire to see my husband starts to kick in and I can’t help feeling anxious.

And then there is the drive!  I never understand why my husband insists on driving to all of the films he’s worked on (even upstate New York).  That’s a lie, I know why he does (think – budget) but I don’t understand WHY!  Anyway, the drive is the LONGEST part to me.  Today’s drive was 16 hrs.  I have to busy myself all day.  I just want him here. Now.

So, another movie down.  Next one in January and who knows after that?!?!  Ahhh….the life of a producer.

Better stop writing about him being home and go enjoy it!

Yay you made it though another round :) You know better than I do that it is so worth it and you are a hero to me for getting through it. And the drive…I thought you were talking about ANOTHER drive that is a factor when he is gone :) …maybe you can write about that in another post…

Megan – LOL You know what, maybe I *will* write a little something about that DRIVE. We actually really helped the drive along this time and I’d love to share how. (That sound gross ut really it would be a book review).

PS- you’d be proud, I have three posts in drafts just waiting for my sister to send my the pictures. :P
